This is not a trial period; our lighters are well documented and any wear or damage will be deducted from the purchase amount.
For full details, please visit our Return Policy.
All lighters have a 3-month warranty after purchase.
However, even though crucial parts may have been serviced/replaced, an older lighter may still leak gas over time, or miss a spark. These lighters have aged over decades, resulting in some internal wear that may have accumulated and will affect their performance, and there is nothing to be done about it. Just know that you are buying a vintage product, and it can happen that they may not perform as expected of a new lighter.

A Ligne 1 in its larger size, the Briquet de Poche, finished in gold plating with fine vertical lines running the length of the body. The ribbing catches the light in narrow bands as the lighter turns, giving the surface a quiet shimmer rather than a flat shine, and the plating reads warm and even across the panels.
What sets this version apart is the adjustment wheel set into the latch, the feature that gives the BR its name. It lets you set the flame higher or lower rather than accepting whatever the lighter gives you, a refinement the earliest Ligne 1 lighters did not have, and the proportions it established went on to shape every Ligne 1 and Ligne 2 that followed. The lid lifts and strikes in the same practised motion the line is known for, with the wheel under the thumb ready to adjust before you light.
The condition here is good, meaning there is visible wear consistent with genuine use rather than years on a shelf, and the photographs show it honestly. This one comes without its original box or papers. It has been fully serviced in our workshop, so it is ready to fill and carry.
