For full details, please visit our Return Policy.
All lighters have a 3-month warranty after purchase.
However, even though crucial parts may have been serviced/replaced, an older lighter may still leak gas over time, or miss a spark. These lighters have aged over decades, resulting in some internal wear that may have accumulated and will affect their performance, and there is nothing to be done about it. Just know that you are buying a vintage product, and it can happen that they may not perform as expected of a new lighter.

A Ligne 2 from the 1980s in black lacquer, the lacquer built up smooth and deep over the brass body so the lighter reads as solid black from every angle, catching a clean line of light along the edges of the case. It is the larger of the two Ligne 2 sizes, giving the lacquer a wide, uninterrupted surface to sit on rather than being broken up by a narrower profile.
The Ligne 2 followed the Ligne 1 as Dupont’s flagship and is built around a slimmer case, with the flame adjustment moved to a screw on the base rather than the latch, sitting alongside the refill port. That architecture was also refined to sharpen the sound of the cap on opening, the ping, or cling, that collectors listen for, and it is as much a part of handling this lighter as the flame itself. The roller strikes the flint directly under the thumb, so lighting it is a single, practised motion rather than two separate steps.
This one comes with its original box, and the lighter itself is in great condition overall. There is a little wear to the flint housing, which you can see in the photographs, while the rest of the case and lacquer presents very well. It has been fully serviced in our workshop, so it arrives ready to fill and use.
