All lighters have a 3-month warranty after purchase.
However, even though crucial parts may have been serviced/replaced, an older lighter may still leak gas over time, or miss a spark. These lighters have aged over decades, resulting in some internal wear that may have accumulated and will affect their performance, and there is nothing to be done about it. Just know that you are buying a vintage product, and it can happen that they may not perform as expected of a new lighter.

A Ligne 1 in the larger Regular size, from the 1980s, finished in silver plate with an allover diamond-head pattern covering every face. The geometry catches the light differently depending on the angle, flashing bright where a facet sits square to a lamp and falling to a soft pewter grey in between, which is what this cut of guilloche is for. The proportions are the full-size Briquet de Poche rather than the smaller version, giving the lighter real presence in the hand without tipping into bulk.
This is the BR configuration, identifiable by the adjustment wheel set into the latch, which lets you set the flame higher or lower rather than accepting whatever the lighter gives you. It is the feature that separated the BR from the earlier Ligne 1 lighters, and its proportions went on to set the template that later Ligne 1 and Ligne 2 models followed. The latch itself is the other half of the experience: a firm press of the thumb, the lid swinging open on its hinge, and the small satisfaction of the cap closing again with the same decisive action every time.
This one is in great condition, showing only the light wear you would expect from a lighter of this age that was looked after rather than left to sit. There is no original box or papers included with this piece. It has been fully serviced in our workshop and is ready to fill and use.
