How to Refill Your S.T. Dupont Lighter
Refilling a Dupont lighter is simple when done correctly. Follow these steps for best results:
1. Purge the lighter
Use a small screwdriver or pin to press the refill valve and release any remaining gas.
2. Invert and refill
Hold the butane canister upside down and press it firmly into the refill valve for about 5 seconds.
3. Wait before lighting
Let the lighter rest for 1–2 minutes to allow the pressure to stabilize and excess gas to evaporate.
