Return Policy

Section 1 - Returns

Our return policy lasts 14 days after delivery and complies with European Union legislation. If 14 days have gone by since your product was delivered, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 
 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.  Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 
 
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
 
Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
 

Section 2 - Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 
 
Refunds never include shipping costs, with the exception if the order has been canceled before starting the shipping process (i.e. before a shipping label has been purchased).
 
Transaction costs that The Lighterhouse has been charged by our payment service (Mollie B.V.) when a customer makes a purchase through our website will be charged to the customer if the customer cancels their order. We unfortunately can’t pay for these cancelations.
 
 
Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

You can review the most current version of the Return Policy at any time on this page.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these Return Policy by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Return Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
