Are the lighters in working condition?
All lighters that come through The Lighterhouse have been meticulously serviced to make sure they are in fully working condition. We restore all lighters either in-house or at our trusted service points to ensure they work as expected, hold their value, and don’t degrade any further. Lighters will always be sent with a flint, except for some collectible lighters, as prolonged storage with a flint could damage the lighter. Lighters will not be sent with fuel/gas due to shipping regulations.
Do you offer a warranty on the lighters?
The Lighterhouse offers a 3-month warranty on all repairs made to our pieces. We are not able to provide a longer guarantee on vintage lighters, especially gas lighters. Even though crucial parts may have been serviced or replaced, older lighters may still leak gas over time, or miss a spark. These lighters have aged over decades, resulting in accumulated internal wear which may affect their performance.
Can I send my lighter in for repair?
We offer repair services to all customers who have purchased a lighter from The Lighterhouse. Unfortunately, we are presently not able to offer a repair service for lighters not purchased from us.

The Lighterhouse offers secure payments together with Mollie B.V.. We accept the following payment methods:

How long until my order arrives?
Your order after completing your purchase will be processed in 1 to 3 business days. Within this time you will receive the tracking code and confirmation that your order has been handed to the shipping company. After that, delivery time may vary on your shipping location.
- The Netherlands: 1 – 3 business days
- United Kindom: 1 – 4 busniss days
- Europian Union: 5 – 7 business days
- Other: 7 – 15* business days
*These estimates exclude holidays and special events. For orders around the winter holiday season, please account for shipping delays due to high traffic. If you haven’t received your order after these estimates, don’t hesitate to contact us.
My order arrived damaged or is lost, what now?
All orders are shipped with insurance. If your order was damaged or lost during shipment, please contact us immediately. In case of damage, the lighter must be returned to us in the original packaging. After we receive the lighter, your purchase amount will be transferred back to you within 7 business days.
Returns and refunds
Our customers’ satisfaction is our number one priority.
We offer a full refund when the product has not been opened and is unused, and a partial refund when the packaging can not be accounted for.
Any returns must be in the original packaging with proof of purchase.
The conditions of return are as follows:
- The buyer must return the item within 14 days of delivery.
- The buyer is responsible for return postage costs, and the initial postage cost will be deducted from the purchase amount.
- The buyer is responsible for loss in value (as agreed upon with The Lighterhouse) if an item is not returned in original condition.
This is not a trial period; our lighters are well documented and any wear or damage will be deducted from the return amount.
