Description
The Ronson Viking was a very popular butane lighter for its ease of use and design. it laid steady in the hand due to the slightly curved body and was an easily adjustable flame. the Viking could be filled with one-time-use canisters but is also fillable with today’s standard gas bottles.
This Ronson Viking is in its original box and still has its two original butane canisters. These are one-time-use capsules to fill the lighter, but luckily a normal butane canister will also fit on the filling valve. This lighter has the logo of ‘Philips’ on it, a Dutch company that specializes in electronics and is known worldwide. This would suggest it was a gift to someone high-ranking within Philips, to have such a luxe lighter gifted.
