Description
The striker lighters made by Ronson are famous under collectors. This Striker lighter integrated into the sculpture of an elephant is still in stunning condition, and very rare. The lighter works by taking the striker wand out of the elephant and striking the flint strip on top of the trunk. The ivory-colored plastic tusks were named Ïvoroid” by Ronson.
This very rare example is in almost perfect condition. Has a dull metal surface, not as rare as the chrome finishes. Mentioned on page 128 of the book “Ronson, The World’s Greatest lighter”.
